The current provider page lists GivEnergy; Fox ESS H1-G2, KH and H3 Smart ranges; Alpha inverters beginning AL; Sigenergy with a Sigen Gateway or Sensor; and Tesla Powerwall 2 and 3. Fox H1-G1 is excluded. Confirm the exact installation during enrolment.
Reserve settings
E.ON says SmartShift does not automatically export below 25% state of charge and respects a higher manufacturer reserve. Align reserve settings across apps and ask how the battery is expected to supply the home below that export threshold.
Is a dynamic tariff a good fit?
Review how much energy you can move between periods and what happens on days with little solar. Compare the full rate calculation and standing charge, rather than assuming wholesale-linked pricing always wins. Request clear instructions for suspending automation and leaving the beta.

No. E.ON presents it as a combined dynamic import and export proposition with battery automation.
Should I leave another optimiser running?
Ask both providers about control compatibility first. Multiple services writing schedules can interfere with the intended battery plan.
